FLUVIAL MOLDELLING OF THE BARRANC DE TREBALUGER RAVINE

You can choose any of the three options at the beginning of the information for your visit, as they are all extremely attractive. At the head of the ravine, you might wish to consider the added extra of visiting the settlement of Son Mercer de Baix, formed by a group of dwelling navetas, in the form of up-turned vessels that were occupied between the early Bronze Age (1,400 BC) and the Talayotic Age (1,000 BC). Seven units of two types have been identified: five in the shape of a horseshoe and two square ones. One of the most interesting is the Cova des Moro, the only known naveta-shaped unit that has preserved the horizontal stone slabs supported by three columns. The central part (which you can access from the Camí de Cavalls) offers stunning views of the ravines’ natural setting, while at the point where the ravines meets the sea is the virgin beach of Trebalúger cove for you to enjoy.
