The area of La Mola is one of the most significant Miocene outcrops of Eivissa and Formentera and is mainly formed by fossil coral reefs. Near this area, on the downward slope towards the central cordon, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Formentera, which will show you the main geological features of the island. As you head west, to Es Copinyar, you can enjoy the spectacle of a Pleistocene fossil beach and compare it with the current beach. Finishing the itinerary, at Cala en Baster, you can see a significant tectonic, eustatic or antropical processes</span></p></div>">outcrop of the big dunes that covered large expanses of the Balearic Islands thousands of years ago.

The route starts at La Mola and cotinues northwards along the PM-V-820 to the deviation to Es Copinyar. Later, return along the same road to Cala en Baster.
