    <env:contingut rdf:parseType="Literal">![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:1"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;Joan Alcover, poeta, ensayista y político, nació en Palma el 3 de mayo de 1854 y murió el 25 de febrero del 1926. Este año se cumplen, por lo tanto, cien años de su muerte.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:1"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;Estudió en el Instituto Balear, donde coincidió con figuras destacadas como el poeta Miquel Costa y Llobera, el escritor Joan Lluís Estelrich y el político Antoni Maura. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:1"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;El 1869 inició la carrera de Derecho en Barcelona, ciudad donde entró en contacto con el movimiento de la Renaixença. El 1878 volvió definitivamente a Mallorca, donde se incorporó al partido liberal liderado por Antoni Maura y fue elegido concejal del Ayuntamiento de Palma.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:1"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;Paralelamente a su trayectoria política, Alcover desarrolló una intensa actividad literaria. Su obra poética en catalán se recoge principalmente en &lt;em&gt;Cap al tard&lt;/em&gt; (1909), que incluye algunos de los poemas más emblemáticos de la literatura catalana, como «La Balanguera», «Elegies», «Miramar», «L'espurna», «Desolació» o «La relíquia», y en &lt;em&gt;Poemes bíblics&lt;/em&gt; (1918).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:1"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;Reconocido como un gran orador, complementó su producción poética con numerosas conferencias, recogidas en &lt;em&gt;Art i literatura&lt;/em&gt; (1904) y &lt;em&gt;Reacció literària&lt;/em&gt; (1910), así como con discursos en los Juegos Florales, artículos y retratos literarios. En estos textos, Alcover desplegó una mirada crítica —como en su análisis del Modernismo—, al mismo tiempo que compartió reflexiones sobre las lecturas que le marcaron y comentarios sobre pensadores como Carlyle, Taine, Schopenhauer y Tolstói. Fue proclamado &lt;em&gt;mestre en gai saber&lt;/em&gt; en los Juegos Florales de Barcelona (1909) y galardonado con el Premio Fastenrath (1919) por &lt;em&gt;Poemes bíblics&lt;/em&gt;. También fue correspondiente de la Real Academia Española (1904), de la Academia de Buenas Letras de Barcelona (1913) y miembro del Instituto de Estudios Catalanes (1916).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:1"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;Es un acto de justicia, pues, rendir homenaje a uno de los poetas más importantes de los siglos xix-xx, referente del Novecentismo y del mundo cultural de la Mallorca entre estos dos siglos.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:1"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;Es voluntad del Gobierno de las Illes Balears conmemorar la figura de Joan Alcover, como reconocimiento a la persona y a su trayectoria.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:1"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;Por todo ello, el Consejo de Gobierno, a propuesta del consejero Turismo, Cultura y Deportes, en la sesión de día 24 de octubre de 2025, adoptó entre otros el siguiente Acuerdo:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:1"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Primero.&lt;/strong&gt; Declarar el año 2026 como Año Joan Alcover en todo el territorio de las Illes Balears.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:1"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Segundo.&lt;/strong&gt; Designar el Instituto de Estudios Baleáricos&lt;em&gt; responsable de la conmemoración &lt;/em&gt;de esta efeméride.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:1"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Tercero.&lt;/strong&gt; Invitar al resto de instituciones de las Illes Balears a participar en la celebración del Año Joan Alcover.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:1"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Cuarto.&lt;/strong&gt; Publicar este Acuerdo en el &lt;em&gt;Boletín Oficial de las Illes Balears&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
