&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:100%"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;El Decreto 54/1984, de 26 de julio (modificado por el Decreto 15/1989, de 9 de febrero), aprobó la creación de la Medalla de Oro de la Comunidad Autónoma de las Illes Balears. Actualmente, este galardón se rige por el Decreto 2/2014, de 10 de enero, por el cual se regula la Medalla de Oro de la Comunidad Autónoma de las Illes Balears, que deroga el Decreto 54/1984.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:100%"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;Este decreto establece, en el artículo 1, que la Medalla de Oro de la Comunidad Autónoma de las Illes Balears es una distinción que tiene por objeto honrar los méritos alcanzados, de manera individual o colectiva, por las personas físicas o jurídicas que se hayan distinguido por su trayectoria personal o profesional en defensa, promoción o fomento de las instituciones y de los intereses generales de la comunidad autónoma de las Illes Balears y cuya labor haya tenido una proyección especial fuera del ámbito de las Illes Balears.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:100%"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;De acuerdo con el artículo 3 del Decreto 2/2014, la Medalla de Oro de la Comunidad Autónoma de las Illes Balears se otorgará mediante un acuerdo del Consejo de Gobierno, a propuesta de la presidenta de las Illes Balears, y de conformidad con el procedimiento que establece el decreto, y se entregará anualmente coincidiendo con la celebración de los actos conmemorativos del Día de las Illes Balears, salvo que, por circunstancias excepcionales, no sea posible o sea preferible otra fecha para su entrega.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:100%"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;El artículo 5 dispone que la Consejería de Presidencia publicará en el &lt;em&gt;Boletín Oficial de las Illes Balears&lt;/em&gt;, antes del 31 de octubre de cada año, la resolución de convocatoria para presentar candidaturas a la Medalla de Oro de la Comunidad Autónoma de las Illes Balears del ejercicio siguiente.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:100%"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;Por otro lado, el artículo 6 dispone que se constituirá un jurado para considerar y valorar las candidaturas de la Medalla de Oro de cada año, compuesto por un representante de cada consejería, que ha de tener la condición de alto cargo, además de la presidenta, cargo que corresponde a la consejera de Presidencia. La secretaría del jurado puede recaer en un técnico o técnica de la Consejería de Presidencia de categoría igual o superior a la de jefe de servicio, nombrado por la consejera.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:100%"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000"&gt;Las referencias que el Decreto 2/2014 hace en la Consejería y a la consejera de Presidencia se deben entender realizadas a la Consejería y consejera de Presidencia, Cultura e Igualdad.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; margin-top:0px"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:100%"&gt;Por todo ello, de acuerdo con el informe justificativo de la Dirección General de Relaciones Institucionales y con el Parlamento de día 8 de octubre de 2020, las propuestas de miembros del jurado realizadas por las consejerías y teniendo en cuenta los artículos 3.&lt;em&gt;k)&lt;/em&gt;, 4.3, 4.6 y 33 de la Ley 11/2016, de 28 de julio, de igualdad de mujeres y hombres, dicto la siguiente&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; margin-top:0px; text-align:center"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:100%"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Resolución&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:100%"&gt;1. Convocar la presentación de candidaturas a la Medalla de Oro de la Comunidad Autónoma de las Illes Balears para el año 2021.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:100%"&gt;2. Establecer que el plazo para presentar candidaturas empieza a contar a partir del día siguiente de la publicación de esta resolución en el &lt;em&gt;Boletín Oficial de las Illes Balears&lt;/em&gt; y acaba el día 16 de diciembre de 2020.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:100%"&gt;3. Establecer que las candidaturas que se presenten han de ajustarse a lo que especifican los artículos 4 y 5 del Decreto 2/2014, de 10 de enero, y que se deben presentar de acuerdo con los modelos disponibles en la página web de la Consejería de Presidencia, Cultura e Igualdad.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:100%"&gt;4. Nombrar el jurado encargado de considerar y valorar las candidaturas y de elevar a la presidenta de las Illes Balears la propuesta de concesión de la distinción, cuya composición figura en el anexo 1 de esta resolución. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size:12px"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height:100%"&gt;5. Disponer la publicación de esta resolución en el &lt;em&gt;Boletín Oficial de las Illes Balears&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
